Giving

At Beth Or we strive to make everyone feel welcome without conveying the feeling that they have to pay a large fee to participate. No one is turned away for lack of ability to pay; all are welcome to explore Judaism and celebrate Jewish life with us. We do not have large physical structures to maintain, and we prefer to spend  our financial support on our programming and human resources. We invite you to support this effort by making a gift to one of the following funds:

A gift to our  General Fund will supplement our income from dues and fundraising efforts and will help  pay for our various programs and projects as well as general operating and administrative expenses.

You may honor the memory of a loved one who has passed by making a gift to our Yizkor Fund. Gifts to the Yizkor Fund will supplement our income from dues and fundraising efforts and will help  pay for our various programs and projects as well as general operating and administrative expenses.

You may publicly recognize a birthday, anniversary, or other  life cycle event as well as an individual’s service to the community by making a gift to our Tribute Fund. Gifts to the Tribute Fund will supplement our income from dues and fundraising efforts and will help  pay for our various programs and projects as well as general operating and administrative expenses

A gift to our Rabbi Discretionary Fund will provide a source of money to be disbursed as Rabbi Robyn Fisher deems fit and proper in accordance with traditional Jewish values.

A gift to our Red Tent Discretionary Fund will provide a source of money to be disbursed for charitable purposes in accordance with traditional Jewish values as determined by the members of our Red Tent Book Club.
